Today was a beautiful day for walking. Although the distance travelled is not high, it
does include all the shops and businesses we went into to get donations.
We left Willunga at 9:30am and made good time to McLaren Vale, even stopping at a couple
of wineries along the way. Then the very long main street took us about 2 hours with so
many businesses - and lunch at Bracegirdles. We then headed for McLaren Flat, stopping
at a few more wineries, and finally getting to our destination at 3:15pm.
We have decided to come home tonight as we are now about equidistant from either
direction. Tomorrow we hope to get to Noarlunga.
We will endeavour to leave McLaren Flat Post Office, 30 Main Road, at 10am heading west
along Chalk Hill Road, and seeing how far we get towards Moana or thereabouts.
