I had a lovely day today. My friend Julie came with me to Meningie,
to let people there know about my walk, and got a very welcoming reception from all I met.
When I stopped for fuel in Wellington, a lady approached me and asked about what I was doing.
She had sad story to tell me and then, as she was leaving, she did what a few others have done:
she gave me a big hug and said "thank you" for doing this.
Every time it has happened I feel this walk is worth all the hours of work and the effort of the walk.
